Last night (Sunday) was a bit of a setback. We got back to the hospital to be informed that the doctor was cocerned about Arrowen not digesting enough of her formula that is being tube fed so they have put her on an IV.
This was the first time that her overall direction has not been improving and it certainly hit Nicole and me like a ton of bricks. This morning I feel physically sore. It is amazing how a few millimeters of undigested formula can flip your mood in an instant.
Hopefully today they will let her back onto trying the breast feeding as she definitely enjoys the comfort of it if nothing else. Trying to keep a positive outlook.
